The app Headset Control Center is developed by Degauss Labs AB. This data privacy and security statement is valid for app Headset Control Center on Google Play. The app Headset Control Center is free to use at no cost, has no Adds and does not collect any user data.

The app Headset Control Center does not collect any private data.
The app require permission of your phone and contacts in order to detect an incoming call, answer or hang up calls via your headset buttons or your phones menu.

Headset Control Center requests these permissions for full functionality.

– READ_PHONE_STATE:  Needed to detect an incoming call,  answer and hung-up the call.

– READ_CONTACTS:  Needed when headset connects and the popup screen show with the possibility to launch the phone screen with contacts and to make a call. The information is not stored, nor sent to Deaguss Labs or any other party.

– INTERNET_CONNECTION: Internet connetction is used for allowing App users to visit and view Headset Control Center app FAQ and Help pages. Visit Degauss Labs web page with headset products and web shop.

– RECORD_AUDIO: Used for the apps fearture to say current time (5 button clicks as default setting)

Permissions and Collection of personal information

The app Headset Control Center requires access the current status of the phone and to the contacts for the possibility to make phone calls from within the app. It uses this information to properly support the headset button actions. The information is not stored, nor sent to any other party
